Living for the Lord

Romans 14:5-96
One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.
He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.
For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself.
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living.

The last verse is my favorite!.
Jesus is the best example of what it's means the phrase "living for God", he came to this world as a human being but nothing could stop him to do what he was supose to be doing in this world. He never get distracted by the things that the world was able to offer to him, nothing stopped him to have a great and a real relationship with our heavenly father, he pleased the Lord in everything he did, he didn't take the fact to be like God as an excuse to not do God's will or do the things that the mans were told to do by God,he won against temptation and one of the most important things: he loved and he served with his whole heart to the people around him :
Philppians 2:6:Who, being in very nature God,did not consider equality with Godsomething to be used to his own advantage;.
Matthew 3:16-17: 16 As soon as Jesus was baptized, he went up out of the water. At that moment heaven was opened, and he saw the Spirit of Goddescending like a dove and alighting on him.17 And a voice from heaven said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased.”

Living for God is not just going to church, sing some christian songs, hear the pastor or preecher talking about things that are for edification of our spirit and relationship with God and that's it,being the same person, making the same mistakes over and over again without let God transform your life through his word and his presence. This is not living for God.

Living for God is:

Having the fruits of the spirit in your life and asking the holy spirit to guide you and give you all of that everyday.

If you fail, you apologize with our father and ask him for the strength and the wisdom for not doing that anymore and make what he wants you to do.

Loving and forgiving with no bounderies the people around you.

Trusting God even when you don't understand.

Trying everyday to be like Jesus, trying to please God and love him with everything you're, everything you do and everything you have all the time.

Living for God is forgetting your own desires and wanting to do what God desires for your life.

Learning to see the spirit, not through your feelings that are temporary.

Living for God is talking to him as a friend, as a child that is trying to know his father by telling him all the things that happens in his life with his own words and showing everything he is feeling.

Willing for Gods dreams in your life than your own dreams.

For finish I want you to remember that you're here for a reason, you have an special purpose and place in this world that just you can fill and just you can complete that mission or purpose in this world. We were made to love and whorship our father, we were made for  being loved by him, we were made for him and by him and we belong to him.
